Cairo – Mubasher: Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt) registered a profit of EGP 240 million, before calculating taxes, in the first nine months of 2017, the CEO and managing director of ABK-Egypt, Khaled El Salawy, said.
ABK-Egypt’s assets increased by 35% year-on-year to total EGP 20.2 billion in the nine months ended in September, the CEO added, according to the bank’s statement.
Total loan and credit facilities portfolio grew to EGP 10.6 billion, while deposits registered EGP 17 billion, El Salawy added.
ABK-Egypt is working on boosting the bank’s trademark in the Egyptian market, the CEO said.
